Annanuk is an amazing man. He is a Shaman and an Intuit Drummer. I knew what a Shaman was, but I hadn't heard of Intuit drumming before and really didn't know what to expect.

We had the interview on the beach at Lake Ontario in the middle of winter and it was absolutely freezing. You can actually see Annanuk's breath as he answers my questions. After we finished our interview he was ready to perform the healing ceremony. Well, this was the first time I'd heard about it. Apparently when we arranged for Annanuk to do the interview, he said he would gladly oblige as long as he was able to use the healing drum on me. Needless to say I was quite nervous! He had done some drumming on the dock beforehand for our camera's and I didn't know what to expect! I had nothing to worry about. When Annanuk pounds the drum it reverberates into every cell of your body. The whole process took about 30 minutes and it was amazing and I felt quite exhausted afterwards. We filmed the healing, but unfortunately couldn't use alot of it because I truly look like I'm in another world!
